On the 19th & 20th of September 2025 at the Grimsby Town Hall, Boys Brigade Grimsby and District Battalion had and Heritage exhibitions over two days.
This was to promote 142 years of the Boys Brigade.
On display was vast amounts of memorabilia from our Battalion dating back to 1926. Among the items where photographs of parades, Company photos, Camp photos, Officers , Badges through the ages, Award schemes through the ages, minutes of meetings dating back to 1920’s over a 100 years, ect.
The two day weekend went well and amounts of people that attended the event.
We where also honoured with the presents of the Mayor and her Consort of Grimsby who found it very interesting.

We have been friends since Infant School at Queen Mary and went through schools together. John joined Boys Brigade at 4th Cleethorpes Company Life Boys Lovett Street Methodist Church. 1961/62 I joined 1962/63. In Boys Brigade you are friends for life.

Mr. John Martin and is wife Mrs. Dinah Martin.
Mrs Martin was mine and John’s Leader in the Life Boys, Mr. Martin was our Captain in the Boys Brigade. We are most grateful for everything they taught us to make us the persons we are today.
