1st Cleethorpes Band

1st Cleethorpes Band as far as I have found out started as a bugle Band. From the 1932/33 annual report for Grimsby and District Battalion, it shows that there where 12 boys in the bugle band.

In the 1937/38  annual report for the Grimsby and District Battalion, the band numbers had decreased by only 2, to have in the band 10 boys.

The Band in 1985, waiting in Sussex Rec to lead what would appear to be a GB Parade.  Drum Major is K. Appleton, with H. Smith immediately behind him.  R. Bunyard (Bunny) on Bass, and several others
